Continued from yesterday's posting...

So...I was able to get a few good shots of about three/four guys playing the game, and the next thing you know the court is filled with all these men and I'm thinking 'yaay, look at all this eye candy - Yinks today is your lucky day girl! It's raining men! Hallelujah! Amen!' and gettin' ready to shoot my little heart out...

...when I heard "...aye....para..,..*something in spanish that I could not for the life of me understand* no....no mas..." Now, "no mas" even given my limited spanish, I know means "no more"... Y'all these dudes were all heckling me and shooing me away for daring to take photographs, maybe without permission but yeah would they have granted me permission if I had asked?....As someone once said, "Sometimes it is easier to beg forgiveness than to seek permission..." ;)

Anyhow, quite embarrassing I must say... I artfully slinked away from the scene because it was about to get UGLY lolol ok ok it was not that bad but I was not gon wait to find out how bad it could have become..

I cannot imagine how papparazzis feel or how they do what they do!  Nor do I want to empathize with them anyways - I mean they are supposedly the dregs of photographic society not so...

Peeps in the BK feel like they are celebrity. This one lady whose picture of course I was not really taking, she just happened to be in the shot as I was trying to get the perfect Manhattan skyline (no luck btw), was hysterical when she looked back and saw me ' please no pikshore, please no take photograph, I do not want people taking mai pickshorrre...'  :) and she railed away in spanish...

;p  *scratching head* Oh dear, prolly shoulda stuck with the plan and buried the darned camera in the first place...
