Mehn Otis is the man! And to think I almost forgot about him!! Got this at his recent NYC concert.

Otis Clay is old school and man does he know his stuff ! :) I had never heard of him prior to the concert but gotta loves you some Otis!  I wonder how he was like in his hey day...the man was doing his thing, no signs of tiring at all through the evening; workin all those love songs, songs about love, about no love, love gone wrong, love going right but will end up wrong in the end, and vice versa; love not supposed to be but is, love supposed to be but sadly isn't, ehhh illicit love, marital love, divorced love - all kindsa love! Oh dear ...and blah blah blah..   my bleepety bleeping ears were full of love that day!! :)

Errr ok stay with me on this -  IDK but am I the only one -  I mean, sometimes one can't help but wonder if love (except the love of God of course) isn't some terribly overrated concept atimes, as in really, seriously, in the immortal words of  Miz Tina Turner -  what's love got to do with it, really, what? Oh well but then what do I know... 

Speaking of Tina Turner 's 'What's love got to do with it' - you can catch that video on youtube, if you live in NYC you will recognize that the video was shot in classic 80s NYC - really interesting to see. As a kid it never clicked that it was NYC. Gives one an inkling of how much the big city has evolved over the recent decades...
